How do I set or change my monthly spending goal?

Set one monthly spending goal and track how the current month is pacing.

Open Settings, choose Spending goal, enter the monthly spending amount you want to target, and save it.

  4. 4Enter your monthly spending goal.

How the goal is used

Finance AI uses one monthly spending goal rather than many category budgets. The home screen compares your current month against that goal and shows whether you are pacing above or below it.

Changing a transaction's date or category can change goal progress because the transaction may move into or out of the current month or spending total.

What counts toward the goal

Spending totals focus on ordinary spending categories. Income and transfers are separated so they do not distort your spending goal progress.
